"Eat all of your vegetables," was often a comment my mother would say to us children when we were at the dinner table. How was I supposed to know how important that would be later in life when I had to find a diet to lose belly fat. Could regular exercise and lots of vegetables, be the best recipe for a flat tummy diet? Are you at your wits end trying diet after diet, only to have the unwanted weight return later? If you are one of the many people who have difficulty losing unwanted belly fat and cannot lose weight no matter how hard you try then consider the following this formula for a slimmer body.
Eat more vegetables.
Eating mostly vegetables is the most effective way to control your caloric intake, and the good news is that they are less expensive than some of the gimmicks I have seen in the marketplace. Raw fruits, whole grains, and vegetables are very low in fat and are naturally high in fiber. When preparing the vegetables, the cook while need to take care not to add any fat or salt back into the diet by adding butter, margarine or salt to vegetables, because this would be counterproductive. Of course nobody enjoys bland vegetables. The truth of the matter is that all you have to do is get creative with other, less fattening additives. Freshly cooked greens are flavored nicely with a little lemon juice and cracked peppercorn and other low fat recipes can be found all over the internet.
Fish and nuts are good protein sources.
It's okay to eat nuts for your protein source. You can provide for your protein needs in a healthy way and various nuts can provide that protein naturally without adding any harmful fat that meats would. An additional healthy protein source is fresh fish. Be aware that canned tuna or fish sticks is not going to help you take the weight off. Tilapia, salmon, fresh tuna or trout are excellent choices for the dieter and the fish will need to be broiled or baked, not fried. Remember that you should be seasoning the fish using the same standards as the vegetables, with no added fat or salt.
Remember to exercise.
Weight loss cannot occur with a new diet alone. The other half involves regular exercise for thirty to forty minutes a day. The daily exercise that you chose to do should be something that you enjoy. Thirty minute walks through the neighborhood or bicycling may be enjoyable for some of you, while aerobics and weight training will suit others. Even when you have lost the unwanted weight, regular exercise is needed in order to keep the weight off.
If you
cannot lose weight with all the measures you have tied, then this
diet to lose belly fat may be the solution you are looking for. A
flat tummy diet that includes lots of vegetables, raw fruit, nuts and fresh fish, keep the pounds off with regular exercise daily. Finally, use your common sense when preparing your food by avoiding added fat and salt to lose unwanted fat.
